Many times when we think of sustainablity Amazon is not the first to come to mind. However we are all trying to be more sustainable, including Amazon. It is a work in progress, I am making an effort to be more sustainable. Making changes to shop sustainably, it can be hard to afford sustainable fashion. However on Amazon, we can start being more sustainable. I have searched for some sustainable items on Amazon, small simple changes to start living sustainably.

Reusable Cotton Rounds

Make up wipes and cotton rounds can be a waste of money and bad for the environment. All the rounds to produce and to dispose of. Rounds that you can pop in the laundry and use again.

Reusable Shopping Bag

In many places in New York, plastic shopping bags are no longer available. Some retailers are charging around 5 cents for paper bags and others will give you a credit of 5-10 cents per bag when you bring your own reusable bag.

Reusable Storage Bags

Food storage bags that are reusable is a great way to reduce plastic use. Reusable freezer bags is another way to be more sustainable. Usually I use freezer bags for frozen bananas or left overs. Replace them with the storage bags, they can be used for snacks as well as left overs.

Portable Stainless Steel Flatware

Put these in your purse or leave a set in your car, so when eating out you don’t have to use plastic utensils

Plant Based Kitchen Bags

Kitchen bags are plastic and it is hard to get around that, these plant based kitchen are made with plant based thus reducing use of fossil fuel and reduce the carbon footprint.

Reusable Produce Bags

Instead of using the plastic produce bags at the supermarket, bring your own produce bags. Some stores may give you a bag credit for the produce bags also.

Charcoal Bamboo Toothbrush

Biodegradable tooth brush clean your teeth and save our planet from harsh toxic plastic.

Hope you were able to find some sustainable finds at Amazon and make small changes to reduce waste and plastic. I am slowly making changes as well and trying to stick with it.
